Everything before your first game.
A card-driven "tableau-building" game: everyone grows their own 4 × 4 island of plants, terrains and ecosystems. On your turn you pick one of four actions — plant, compost, water or grow — and every other player gets a smaller version of it too, so the whole table plays all the time. It's for 1 to 5 players, ages 13+, and takes 45 to 90 minutes.
Not at all. There are only four actions, and most people are comfortable halfway through their first game. The depth comes from the combos between cards — which is why it won Medium Game of the Year: easy to start, satisfying to master.
Animal Kingdom if you want more variety: 36 animals with wooden pieces and their own abilities. Abundance if you want more interaction, a sixth player or team play. Can't choose? The Complete World bundle has the base game and both, and saves 15% on all three.
The Earth base game is 20% off: $39.99 instead of $50. On top of that, any two items in your cart save 10% and three or more save 15% — on everything, applied automatically. Free US shipping from $59, otherwise $9.99.
Every order ships from our US warehouse within 48 hours on business days and arrives in 2–5 business days. Free shipping over $59. 30-day money-back guarantee on unused games; return postage is paid by the buyer.
Yes. The base game includes a solo mode against an automated opponent called Gaia — it won the International Gamers Award for solo play in 2023.
Yes. Abundance, Animal Kingdom, the Weather Module and the Disasters Module can all be combined. Every expansion needs the Earth base game.
No — the game comes with cardboard player boards. The neoprene mats are an upgrade: your cards stay put, and the table looks spectacular. You need one tableau mat per player.
One of the best. It's beautiful to unwrap, quick to learn, plays from 1 to 5, and works for families with teenagers as well as seasoned players. Add an expansion and the bundle ships free.
